Scholarship

Callie’s Giving Heart Foundation is proud to offer a $1,500 scholarship to two high school seniors attending Versailles High School or Russia High School. 

The Callie’s Giving Heart Foundation Scholarship is designed to support high school seniors who have experienced the loss of a loved one and are continuing forward with courage, resilience, and a desire to make a meaningful difference in the world. Loss can shape a person’s perspective in profound ways, and this scholarship honors students who carry forward the memory and legacy of someone they love as they pursue their educational goals.

Any graduating high school senior who has experienced the loss of a parent, sibling, or other significant loved one and plans to continue their education.

Eligibility 

  • High School Senior attending Versailles or Russia High School

  • Application must be submitted by May 1, 2026

To apply: 

  1. Complete the form below.

  2. Write an essay answering the following: Loss often changes the way we see the world and the path we choose to follow. Share how the loss of your loved one has shaped your perspective, influenced your goals, or inspired the path you plan to pursue in life. How do you hope to carry their memory forward as you continue your education and future career? (500-word minimum) 

  3. Please also include one letter of recommendation.​​
