Callie's Story
Callie was diagnosed with congenital heart disease, Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, in 2018. From that moment on, our family began a journey marked by uncertainty. Over the next three years, Callie endured multiple surgeries, hospitalizations, and countless medical interventions.
Callie was never defined by her diagnosis. She was a true girly girl who loved having her nails painted, wearing bows in her hair, playing with baby dolls, and watching Peppa Pig. She loved to sing, especially “Baa Baa Black Sheep,” dance without hesitation, and follow her big brother in everything he did. She carried a strength and bravery far beyond her years. Her smile was radiant and unforgettable. She brought light, joy, and love into every space she entered.
In 2021, at just three years old, we said goodbye to Callie.
Losing a child changes every part of who you are. It leaves an absence that cannot be filled, but it also leaves behind a love that cannot be lost.
Callie’s Giving Heart Foundation was born from that love. Inspired by Callie’s life, her courage, and the profound impact of her loss, we are committed to walking alongside other families who experience the unthinkable. Rooted in faith, we offer comfort, resources, and remembrance, bringing families together to heal hearts and honor the love that lives on.
